Scooters & Mobility Tasmania – Home Trial 
 

At Scooters and Mobility Tasmania, we bring independence right to your door.

Proudly operated by St John Tasmania, we can deliver scooters and mobility aids across Tasmania.

So you can try them at home, where it matters most.

We also make sure they suit your needs and your space.

Home Trial Terms & Conditions

1. Home trials are available by appointment only and subject to staff availability.

2. Customers requesting a home trial must be genuine prospective buyers with a serious intention to purchase a mobility scooter or aid.

3. Customers must either be self-funded or have a pre-approved funding package (for example, through NDIS or Aged Care).

4. Scooters & Mobility Tasmania reserves the right to refuse or cancel a home trial booking at its discretion if it reasonably believes the request is not genuine.

5. Home trials are limited to the customer’s home environment and immediate surrounds, as agreed with staff, to ensure safety.

6. All home trial bookings are free of charge, but conditions apply.

NDIS participants can provide feedback or lodge a complaint in a way that suits them best.

Complaints Procedure
​

When feedback or a complaint is received, it will be handled by a designated manager.

The process includes:

  • Acknowledging receipt of your complaint within 2 business days

  • Contacting you if additional information is required

  • Explaining the process for investigating and resolving the issue

  • Keeping you informed of progress until the matter is resolved

All feedback and complaints are handled confidentially and in accordance with NDIS guidelines.
